Abt ya post, Well yeah when a girl is pretty, voluptous , intelligent and yet confident she does get better chances in being recruited for the job. but i don't think all companies do that though. there are just some perverts in the organisation who would like to get a chance underneath their skirts. probably.
It happens. not only on this issues but many others. in singapore its usually a race thing. but well thank God there is still nice and fair people around.. there are bound to be people who are bious or indifferent.

lol.. wht u wrote is true but after taking some interviews in the company i have a different view on this.. not all interviewers are like tht (for my sake.. he he). There were a few really pretty gals for interview but plain stupid.. so we rejected them coz we knew tht ltr the work alloted to them would have to be taken care by others.. so not everywhere this silicon thing rules.. at least not in my company
there now u make me unhappy.. lol
but yeah most of the places this lecherous stares take over the gals.. whom to blame is totally another issue

Yeah it happens alot. But I say it depends on the job too. I mean if it's an air-hostess or PR job, they do look for LOOKS. We cant fight against that cos the industry requires that (with some brains ofcourse). If it's an IT/Medical job, no girl can cheat her way to it. Can they now? So it really comes down to the job they r applying for.
And I know there some dirty old men who recruit just for looks.

It's an age-old tale. It doesn't seem to happen in medical jobs where most of us are beat-up burnouts who are either ordinary-looking or butt ugly and are at least as unhealthy as the people we take care of. But as for getting a bartending job? Fuhgeddaboutit. They didn't want a 40-plus heavyset woman with a polite attitude and experience. They want a young thang with cleavage who will flirt with the customers. Nevermind that the 40-plus broad is a hell of a lot less likely to call in because she wants to spend some time smooching with her latest honey! Like Michelle said, makes me sick!
When I was in my early 20's I turned down a job because I was able to read upside down what the interviewer was writing. He had assessed me as a "cute little blonde." Those aren't qualifications! I was offended to the core.
